A UBC medical education helped prepare MD ’86 graduates for careers as physicians, educators, healthcare leaders and advocates.
Their 40th reunion is a chance to reconnect while helping current students manage the rising costs of medical school.
Funds raised through the UBC MD Class of 1986 Reunion Bursary Campaign will provide financial assistance to students with demonstrated need. The bursary can help cover tuition, living expenses, learning materials and costs related to clinical training.
This support can ease some of the financial pressure students face while completing a demanding medical program in today’s world.

About the UBC MD Class of 1986
Graduates of the UBC MD Class of 1986 have spent the past four decades working across medicine and healthcare.
Although their careers have taken different directions, their time studying medicine at UBC connects them. They know how demanding the program can be and how valuable help can be during those years.
Volunteer class representatives are leading the campaign with support from the UBC Faculty of Medicine Development and Alumni Engagement team.
