The UBC Equestrian Team is a Thunderbirds Sport Club where students of all riding levels come together to share their passion for horses and sport. We rely on donations to keep our team galloping forward, making equestrian more accessible and affordable for all. Project Description
The UBC Equestrian Team is a student-led, self-funded Thunderbirds Sport Club. We’re all about riding together and helping each other out. Our team welcomes riders of all levels as we work to keep costs under control and trot closer to making this amazing sport more affordable for everyone. Your support today can help us hoof the bill for things like show expenses (i.e., accommodations, training fees, judging fees and stewarding fees), lower lesson and club fees, and get our team suited up with show gear. Together, we’re building a strong and stable foundation so our horse-loving riders can jump, trot and gallop toward their goals!

About the UBC Equestrian Team
Representing UBC takes more than grit—it takes travel, teamwork and a lot of horsepower! We’re constantly travelling for shows and need to cover costs for transportation, accommodation, coaching fees and memberships with governing associations. Plus, we co-host an Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) local show to stay in the running for the IHSA Regional Finals. Your donations are the mane thing that can keep us trotting along. Every little bit helps our riders represent UBC with awesome team spirit, big smiles and so much pride!
